House rules

We want you to enjoy your stay. So please follow the guidelines below to ensure a safe and pleasurable vacation.

1…CHECK-IN/OUT: Your “check–in” time will be from 4:00 pm. “Check-out” time will be no later than 11:00 am. Other arrangements may be made upon request (but not guaranteed), all requests will depend on availability.

2…Damages: You agree to pay for and will be billed for any damages or missing items. Each towel or sheet damage or missing will cost $20.00.

3…ESSENTIALS: Please remember that you are renting a private house, not a hotel room or timeshare. For your convenience, some basic essentials may be provided for you upon arrival, such as toilet paper, dish soap. Essentials may not last your entire rental period. We recommend you bring your own.

4…PARKING: Parking is available in the surrounding area.

5…PETS: Pets are NOT allowed. Not following this rule will represent a fine of $150.

6…SMOKING: NO SMOKING allowed inside the house. If you need to do so, please do it outside. You’ll need to DISPOSE properly the cigarette butts. If smoking does occur inside the house, you will be responsible for any damage including but not limited to, stains, burns and removal of debris. Not following this rule will represent a fine of $150.

7…RULES: Always follow the law. Please be respectful to other. We may cancel your reservation at any time if we get complaints from neighbors or the Police about anyone in your group not complying with the rules. Not following this rule may represent your IMMEDIATE EVICTION from our property and total loss of your security deposit and rental payment.

8…TRASH: Tropical weather may bring ants and other pests in. Please be sure to leave all food inside the refrigerator and all doors closed to insects from entering the house. Upon departure, please leave refrigerator and freezer clean, and discard all garbage, food and leftovers the on the balcony in the garbage bags. We will take care of it. Garbage bags are provided, so you can take out garbage without going outside, during your stay. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE GARBAGE OUTSIDE THE HOUSE OR AROUND IT.

9…MAINTENANCE: You are renting a cleaned and furnished house with a certain inventory of items, such as appliances, Smart TV, remote controls, kitchen utensils, plates, glassware, etc. We expect all occupants to properly use, operate, safeguard and take care of Premises, including furniture, appliances, furnishings, and all electrical, plumbing fixtures, and keep them and the Premises clean and sanitary. Please clean the excess sand when you entry to the house. DO NOT THROW PAPER, NAPKINS, SANITARY PADS, WIPES ETC down the toilets. They will clog the system and you will have to cover the plumber. DO NOT THROW OILS DOWN the SINK. It damages the plumbing and the septic tank. Septic company charges $225 per visit to correct problem. Please maintain the door close when the air conditions are on to prevent damage on it.

10…CLEANING: The rental fee you pay includes a cleaning fee that will cover changing and washing sheets, towels, clean bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and floors, before and after your departure. Any additional or excessive cleaning needed or items missing or damaged will be charged to you. Housekeeping during your stay may be arranged for a fee ($90 cash per cleaning day).

11…WEATHER: Rain, wind, storms, hurricanes, weather, etc. are not predictable. Therefore we will not be responsible or give out refunds for any adverse weather conditions once you have occupied our property or occur during your stay. Also Electricity or water problems that was caused for problems with the system not in our hands.

12…RULES: Your party will have the sole use of our property unsupervised, including cooking facilities, therefore you as a guest agree that the property owners, nor Personal Property Management Inc, will not be held responsible for any damages, fire, accidents, injuries, casualties, to any persons or property during your stay on our property and surroundings. Tenants/guests agree that they will not claim the house owners for any damages, fire, accidents, injuries, casualties, vandalism or thefts, to any persons or property during your stay at the house. All minor children must be supervised at all times. Minors are not allowed to drink alcohol on our property. The beach area facilities can be used at your own risk. We ask adults that if they drink alcoholic beverages follow moderation and behave responsibly. The use of illegal drugs or firearms on our property is prohibited and will result in immediate eviction from our property without a refund.

13…PROPERTY: Tenant’s or guest’s personal property and vehicles are not insured by Landlord, property owner, property manager, against loss or damage due to theft, fire, vandalism, rain, water or negligent acts of others or any other cause. We are not responsible for any lost, vandalism or theft, to personal property or vehicles, accidents or casualties on our property.

14…CAPACITY: Our house provides enough sleeping accommodations for six (6) persons. Tenant/Guest shall not sublet or rent the property to others. Not following this rule may represent your immediate eviction from our property without a refund. And a $150 fee, per person ,per day/ night pay immediately!

15…KEYS: Tenant/guest shall pay all costs and charges related to loss of keys. Replacement cost is $200.

16… We need ID for every adult Guest in your reservation.

17…DAMAGE HAVE AN ADIDIONAL COST:
Damage to beach towels costs $25.00
Damage to bed linen costs $50.00


How to avoid bug bites at the beach

As in any beach location, there is a possibility of being bitten by insects while enjoying the sand and water. Commonly known as gnats, sand fleas, no-see-ums or biting midges, these tiny biting insects are barely visible to the naked eye, but their bites can be irritating, and their effects can be felt several hours after being bitten. A small reddish or whitish welt about the size of a freckle is a sure sign that you’ve been bitten. Thankfully, these bites are not harmful to human health, but sure are very annoying!

Protect yourself and your family by applying insect repellent when you are outside.
